
Business Analyst
Affinity
ContractOn behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a part-time Business Analyst to report directly to the Project Manager and Program Manager, providing structured analytical support across key phases of a facilities-based Internet and Communications Technologies (ICT) program. The primary focus will be on one facility, with subsequent emphasis on other high-priority ICT initiatives as identified throughout the project.
Responsibilities:
• Elicit information from departmental managers, clinical leads, and operational teams
• Perform data entry, documentation, and maintenance of records using standardized templates and tools
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and document business and IT-related information in accordance with agreed-upon processes and procedures
• Support ongoing coordination between departments, vendors, and technical teams to maintain workflow alignment and project momentum
• Gather department-specific and user-specific location information related to telephones, software applications, and other end user devices
• Lead requirements-gathering meetings with business stakeholders, clinicians, technical staff, and vendors
• Develop and maintain end-user training documentation based on validated requirements and workflows
• Document current and future-state IT workflows for specific departments
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (business or technology focused)
o or equivalent experience, supplemented with a minimum of five (5) years in a business analyst or technical lead role
• Demonstrated ability to extract quality information from a diverse group of stakeholders under limited time constraints.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills; experience in stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Strong written skills; able to compile and organize technical and non-technical information from a variety of sources.
• Possess excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the Province’s health care system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Visio, PowerPoint and MS Project.
• The following experience is considered an asset:
o IT and Biomedical integration
o Health information systems
o Centrix to VoIP cutovers
• 50% allocation availability for the duration of the agreement
• With 100% during AHH phase 1 and 2 launches, balanced into the total hours
