Your Responsibilities

  • Design learning experiences that align with business goals, learner needs, and performance outcomes—from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex content into clear, engaging, and actionable learning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify training gaps and build solutions that drive performance.
  • Create content across a variety of formats—including eLearning, instructor-led (ILT), virtual instructor-led (vILT), videos, job aids, guides, and interactive experiences.
  • Leverage instructional design models (like ADDIE or SAM) and adult learning principles to ensure learning sticks.
  • Build eLearning modules using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, or similar platforms to bring content to life.
  • Support learning measurement efforts by developing assessments and analyzing learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve your work.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment while staying flexible and learner-focused.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, adult learning or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Instructional Design
  • Minimum of two years in Corporate Training
  • Experience in Hospitality a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Proficient in Articulate 360, Storyline, Camtasia, and Miro
  • Working knowledge of AI Tools
  • Strong communication, writing, and storytelling skills
  • The ability to simplify complexity and bring content to life in a way that engages learners.
  • A problem-solver who’s energized by collaboration and creativity.
  • Demonstrates key competencies to include Customer Focus, Managing Complexity, and Situational Adaptability

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Director, Internal Partnerships and Learning Solutions. You will have multiple teammate(s) and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.

Your Work Location

This is a remote position with flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $74,168 - $87,147 annually.

The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
