Travel Required: up to 40% domestic travel as needed

Role Overview:

Liquid Death is looking for a strategic and execution-oriented National Account Manager to lead our Kroger business at the headquarters level while driving alignment and performance across Kroger divisions. This role is responsible for delivering against national sales goals, managing broker partners, and ensuring exceptional execution at retail through effective divisional wiring and field collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead for the Kroger HQ relationship. Develop and execute customer-specific business plans, including promotional calendars, new item launches, pricing strategies, and retail initiatives
  • Responsible for driving divisional alignment. Coordinate with Kroger divisions to ensure national strategies are tailored to local needs and executed consistently in partnership with the Distribution team
  • Manage day-to-day engagement with broker partners, providing direction, setting KPIs, reviewing performance, and ensuring executional excellence across all Kroger divisions.
  • Partner with category insights, marketing, finance, supply chain, and field sales to align internal resources and deliver against customer objectives
  • Responsible for exceptional retail execution. Leveraging brokers and field sales to ensure programs are executed in-store, including display compliance, planogram adherence, and promotional activation
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and analyze performance using syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and internal tools to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling insights and recommendations to Kroger that drive category growth and strengthen our partnership
  • Lead customer-facing meetings, including Joint Business Plans (JBPs), Top-to-Tops, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of 3+ years of relatable key account or national account management experience preferably with Kroger or with other large format national accounts
  • Proven experience managing brokers and partnering with field sales to accomplish exceptional retail execution
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience managing multiple customer stakeholders across HQ and divisions
  • Experience developing and leading Joint Business Plans (JBP’s)
  • Familiarity with Kroger's Go-to-Market structure and systems preferred
  • Understanding customer P&L and profitability by understanding margin, trade spend, and volume planning
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience with syndicated data platforms for sales forecasting and reporting (Circana, Vividly, 8451 platform knowledge)
  • Ability to build long-term customer plans that align with Liquid Death goals
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to travel up to 30–50%, including visits to customer headquarters, divisional offices, broker partners, and retail locations
  • Must be able to lift and carry products and materials up to 25 pounds
  • Walking, bending, and standing while setting up retail displays or conducting store audits
  • Must have a valid driver's license & clean motor vehicle record (MVR): with no major violations
  • Safely operate personal vehicle to fulfill work-related duties; this position involves driving a personal vehicle for work-related purposes
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed (for Retailer meetings, distributor meetings, trade shows, etc.)

The typical salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $130,000
