Clearco

Hiring from: Canada

Clearco is the leader of AI, data-driven e-commerce funding and has advanced over $2.5 billion in non-dilutive capital to over 10,000 businesses. Our revolutionary Invoice Funding product allows entrepreneurs to fund their expenses — including marketing and inventory — without giving up cash flow, so they can plan for the future.

We’re in a transformative phase, building a modern, data-driven marketing function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape and scale a high-impact marketing engine with full executive visibility.

Clearco is seeking a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to drive full-funnel growth and take our go-to-market efforts to the next level. In this role, you’ll lead demand generation, strengthen product marketing, and help shape a high-performing team and operating model as we scale. This is a high-impact opportunity with the potential to evolve into a broader VP or CMO role — perfect for a builder who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to leave a lasting mark.

What You’ll Do:

Demand Generation Leadership

  • Own campaign strategy from segmentation to pipeline coverage, aligning closely with Sales and RevOps to ensure marketing efforts drive revenue by segment and stage.
  • Build and execute personalized, multi-channel programs tailored to specific industries, use cases, and funding needs.
  • Design and implement full-funnel demand systems, including MAP/CRM integration, lead scoring, lifecycle workflows, and attribution models that tie marketing to revenue.
  • Comfortable operating with imperfect data, standing up reporting frameworks that reveal campaign impact and pipeline influence.
  • Manage paid and organic budget allocation with a focus on optimizing CAC, ROI, and campaign performance.
  • Develop and optimize full-funnel programs that generate qualified pipelines — not just leads.
  • Build and oversee marketing automation, CRM integrations, and campaign architecture from scratch.
  • Evaluate and implement MarTech tools to scale demand generation impact and marketing efficiency.
  • Partner with RevOps to build funnel visibility and attribution infrastructure for full GTM alignment.
  • Build and manage integrated campaigns (SEO/SEM, email, social, ABM, events) that drive measurable growth and ROI.
  • Develop attribution models and reporting frameworks to connect marketing programs directly to revenue outcomes.

Product Marketing Excellence

  • Craft clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for our products based on customer insights and market analysis.
  • Partner with Product and Sales on go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature rollouts.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and customer segmentation to help inform roadmap and positioning decisions.

Team and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and scale a high-performing team across demand gen, content, and product marketing (initial team size: ~3-4 FTEs with room to grow).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to orchestrate seamless buyer and customer journeys.
  • Set and track KPIs/OKRs for marketing performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Champion the use of AI and automation to scale marketing productivity and efficiency.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience with deep expertise in demand generation.
  • Proven track record of scaling pipeline at $20M+ revenue-stage companies.
  • Deep experience with MAPs, CRMs, and marketing analytics (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, attribution tools).
  • Expertise in implementing lead scoring, nurturing workflows, and reporting dashboards.
  • Strong grasp of product marketing fundamentals to drive messaging, positioning and GTM execution. Leadership experience managing and growing lean, agile teams.

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have fintech or financial services demand gen experience (a plus, but not required - GTM excellence is what matters most)
  • Have built marketing functions during periods of transformation or turnaround
  • Have experience using AI and MarTech tools to enhance content creation, segmentation, and campaign optimization.
  • Understand and support consultative/complex sales methodologies with tailored marketing approaches.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and incentives.
  • Comprehensive health and dental coverage.
  • RRSP / 401k matching.
  • Work-from-home stipend and flexible time-off policy.
  • Mental health and wellness support.
  • Fertility, hormonal health, and family-forming benefit.

Clearco is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment for all team members. If you need accommodations during the hiring process, we’re happy to support you.
