About The Position
This position is responsible for obtaining referral authorizations from insurance companies to ensure patients can get scheduled.
Primary duties consist of
Part-Time schedule is: Mon-Fri 9am - 3pm EST.

About The Position
This position is responsible for obtaining referral authorizations from insurance companies to ensure patients can get scheduled.
Primary duties consist of
- Manage the intake and distribution of referrals to ensure entry into the scheduling process
- Compilation of information for database entry and distribution
- Enter data into multiple databases
- Create, prepare, and update electronic medical records
- Create and process patient charts for entry into databases and servers
- Prepare and distribute patient and physician correspondence regarding appointment status
- Contact patients to provide information regarding the insurance precertification process
- Faxing information to physician offices and other faxing as needed
- Performing word processing, copying as needed
- Create and distribute daily and weekly data reports as requested
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a medical setting preferred
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly
- High level of organization and accuracy
