Job Overview:
Are you ready to kickstart your sales career with a global tech leader? Anker Innovations is looking for a Junior Account Manager to help us expand our presence in the Canadian region.
This Junior Account Manager role focuses on growing the telecom dealer channel by driving new retailer acquisition and supporting the Key Account Manager in charge of telecom to support further business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand sales channels in alignment with the company’s strategic goals, including but not limited to distributors, sales agencies, and specialty resellers.
- Provide administrative support to the Distribution Account Manager.
- Develop Strategic Plans: Create and implement strategic business plans for assigned accounts, focusing on growth and mutual success.
- Represent the company at fairs and industry trade shows; follow up on sales leads generated from these events and convert them into tangible business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by regularly engaging with key decision-makers and visiting retail locations. Actively participate in client-organized workshops, seminars, and other promotional activities to drive product sell-out and grow the active user base.
- Support the Go-to-Market team by gathering market intelligence, including competitor analysis, and providing insights to support long-term product strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local workshops, seminars, and brand-related events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above required. Preferably in Business or Marketing.
- 1 to 5 years of sales experience preferred, especially in the consumer electronics or telecom industry.
- Strong communication skills and interest in engaging with customers.
- Team player.
- Proficient in Google sheets, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
- Innovative thinker, customer oriented and results driven.
- Prepared to travel – 20% or less of the time, to regional clients.
- English proficiency, French and/or Mandarin optional but bonus.
【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is CAD $45,000 - $60,000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
