We power in-store and online retail for leaders such as Patagonia, REI, Eileen Fisher, Arc'teryx, Allbirds, Carhartt, Michael Kors, Levi's, and more.
About the Strategic Partnerships Manager role
In this role, you will act as the General Manager of each partner's recommerce program—owning its success from strategy to execution. You'll serve as the primary point of contact, driving growth, solving problems, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver value for both the partner and Trove.
What You'll Do
As a key member of the Partnerships team, you'll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of brand partners, owning the success of each relationship. You'll ensure seamless execution of partner programs and identify strategic opportunities for growth and innovation.

- Drive Strategic Value: Support partners with actionable insights, strategic guidance, data-driven reporting, and training to help them grow and optimize their recommerce programs.
- Manage Cross-Functional Communication: Maintain regular communication cadences to share key updates related to business performance, product development, operations, and strategic initiatives.
- Build Scalable Playbooks: Collaborate with the Partnerships and cross-functional teams to continuously improve partner enablement materials, best practices, and operational playbooks.
- Influence Product & Engineering: Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive roadmap prioritization, troubleshoot technical issues, and advocate for features that meet partner needs.
- Enable Supply Growth: Work collaboratively with partners to identify and source product supply, directly influencing business growth and profitability.
- Be a Trusted, Empathetic Advisor: Balance professionalism, empathy, and business acumen while supporting multiple partners in a high-growth, high-complexity environment.
- Forecast & Plan Joint Growth: Co-develop supply/demand forecasts and marketing plans with partners to ensure alignment on business targets and growth strategies.
- Shape the Future of Trove's Ecosystem: Help define strategic priorities for Business Development, Product, and Engineering by representing the voice and needs of your partners.
- Industry Knowledge: 3–7 years of experience in ecommerce, retail, SaaS, circular economy, brand management, consulting, or a related field.
- Partnership Management: Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact relationships and complex workstreams simultaneously.
- Strategic & Technical Acumen: Experience supporting software implementations, influencing product roadmaps, and providing strategic advisory services.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a talent for distilling complexity and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines.
- Detail-Oriented Execution: Strong organizational skills with a bias toward action and a commitment to delivering quality.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform strategy and make decisions across a diverse partner portfolio.
- Persistence & Ownership: Takes initiative and ownership to push projects through to completion—even when they're tough or ambiguous.
- Flexible Remote Workplace - Trove's flexible schedule and remote workplace allows employees more freedom in their schedule, which is invaluable when it comes to attending to the needs of personal and work life needs.
- Flexible PTO - Our flexible vacation company policy allows employees to take leave as they need.
- 401K - Employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to invest in a qualified retirement investment plan.
- Medical/Dental/Vision plan options
- Equity/Share Options - The longer the employee works, the more stocks become available to purchase.
- Learning Fund - Exempt employees have access to a pool of funds to support execution of their self-development goals and objectives.
- Partner Discounts - Enjoy eligibility for Pro Accounts and various partner discounts from Patagonia, Arcteryx and Eileen Fisher
- Mission Driven - Work alongside passionate people to build the leading recommerce infrastructure and the circular economy.
