Main Purpose of Job
This position offers crucial support to the Director and Deputy Director by managing and coordinating various administrative responsibilities. These include the creation of reports and statistics, ensuring excellent customer service, assisting with personnel matters, and overseeing other operational functions.
The role also involves actively participating in the development of policies, procedures, and performance standards aimed at enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our service delivery. Furthermore, this position is responsible for establishing and monitoring procedures to guarantee compliance with Federal, Legislative, and Department of Human Services fiscal/program audits.
The incumbent will exercise independent judgment while operating under the guidance and supervision of the Director.
POSITION DUTIES

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: Two years of administrative staff or professional work.

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

- Prepares, updates, and monitors Baltimore County Child Support Administration (BCCSA) reports, constituent service complaints, and customer service queries.
- Maintains and organizes BCCSA documents, records, and files relevant to the office's operations. Ensures the correct filing, retrieval, and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assists with managing the office's daily operations, such as meeting scheduling, appointment coordination, and calendar management for the director and deputy director.
- Organizes and plans meetings, conferences, and other activities for the director and deputy director.
- Prepares agendas, collects necessary resources, and distributes them to participants.

- Personal Leave - new State employees are awarded six (6) personnel days annually (prorated based on start date).
- Annual Leave - ten (10) days of accumulated annual leave per year.
