MOBIA is currently recruiting a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team in Ontario, Canada. The Senior Cyber Security Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex projects across the organization. This role requires advanced project management expertise, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet. The Senior Cyber Project Manager will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet business objectives, are delivered on time and within budget, and adhere to organizational standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end management of multiple, high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project plans using Smartsheet or equivalent technology solutions to track deliverables, milestones, risks, and resources.
  • Leverage Smartsheet or equivalent platforms to automate workflows, set up real-time alerts, and integrate with other business systems for enhanced project visibility and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve challenges to ensure project success.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and senior leadership through regular updates and presentations.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, risk logs, and post-project reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, leveraging automation and integration features of Smartsheet, Asana, Trello, or similar technologies for greater efficiency.
  • Ensure projects comply with internal policies, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Support change management initiatives and facilitate adoption of new processes or technologies as part of project delivery.

 

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of project management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Cyber Security Certification, Such As CISSP, CISM or SANS Highly Desirable
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools, specifically Smartsheet, or equivalent, including dashboard development, workflow automation, system integrations, and reporting.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing project budgets, vendor relationships, and third-party service providers.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Ability to facilitate project workshops and training sessions.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
