As a Logistics Coordinator, you will oversee and facilitate the day-to-day operations of the entire supply chain process. You will work alongside the Business Development team and will serve as a liaison between our clients and carriers to ensure the effective distribution of our clients' goods. You will interact with clients, carrier partners, warehouses, and other stakeholders as part of this function, handling customer support and manage the lifecycle of a shipment.


A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. 


On a given day, you will:

  • Track and monitor goods to confirm appointments, arrival, and delivery status
  • Negotiate with vendors to obtain best contracted pricing
  • Prepare all necessary documentation required for shipments
  • Liaise with customers, carrier partners, and other departments to coordinate the shipment
  • Analyze and troubleshoot any logistical issues that may arise
  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
  • Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
  • Investigate cost-saving opportunities
  • Perform quality assurance checks on goods before and after shipment
  • Keep updated records and database
  • Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs and service requests
  • Carry out additional tasks not limited to the above
