About the Opportunity

Scout Talent is looking for a full-time Information Technology Project Manager to work remotely from anywhere in Canada, on behalf of our client - a mission-driven non-profit organization and recognized leader in their field.


Reporting to the Director of IT, the IT Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects that support strategic and operational objectives across the organization.


More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Defining project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project plans including risk assessments, budgets, and communication strategies
  • Coordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Monitoring and reporting on project performance using KPIs and management tools
  • Managing risks and issues, including escalation and mitigation strategies
  • Leading stakeholder engagement, updates, and cross-functional alignment
  • Documenting all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with governance standards
  • Proposing improvements to project management practices and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Supporting the full lifecycle of internal and external technology solutions
  • Researching and monitoring trends in SaaS, AI, and business automation
  • Creating and maintaining SOPs and knowledge-sharing tools to strengthen project management capacity


About You

To qualify, you will need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, SaaS, cloud computing, software implementation, or business analysis in a service delivery environment will also be essential.


Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile
  • Experience in digital transformation, AI adoption, or process automation initiatives
  • Proficiency with SaaS/cloud environments and project management tools like MS Project
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis practices such as requirements gathering and process mapping
  • Experience managing IT vendors and coordinating cross-functional teams
