The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and execution of technology strategies to optimize performance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy and Leadership:
- Assist in the development and execution of the technology roadmap to align with the organization’s goals.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of software applications, ensuring security, scalability, and integration with other systems.
- Work closely with internal teams to define data needs and ensure the quality, integrity, and security of data across systems.
- Lead the integration of data from multiple sources, such as EMRs, financial systems, and operational platforms, to create centralized data access for analytics and business intelligence.
- Ensure data governance and management frameworks support business intelligence, analytics initiatives, and evidence-based decision-making.
- Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures to protect the organization’s information assets.
- Assist in conducting regular risk assessments, implementing disaster recovery plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure the organization is HIPAA compliant.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure delivery of high-quality technology, data, and analytics solutions.
- Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a data technology role, preferably within healthcare.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Proven experience in working with a variety of data systems, including EMRs, ERP systems (finance), CRM platforms, and other business data sources.
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing data management strategies that drive business outcomes.
- Experience in managing data pipelines, integration, and warehousing, with a focus on data quality, data security, and data governance.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, with experience working on data warehouses, data lakes, and managing large-scale data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage data projects, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data integration tools.
- Experience with Data Warehouse platforms (Azure, Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and systems, including ERP and CRM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization and dashboard development.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in healthcare.
