About The Role

As a Treasury Associate you will be responsible for delivering value-added work for the firm and its clients by working closely alongside a number of other departments across the business in a close-knit team.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

  • Manage large sets of counterparty data for daily treasury functions and client reporting, while liaising with counterparties to receive and verify data.
  • Develop an understanding of proprietary internal systems and collaborate with various internal stakeholders to enhance system functionality.
  • Develop an understanding of single-manager and multi-manager Dedicated Managed Accounts (“DMAs”) on Innocap’s platform, including counterparty account structure, cross margining and cross netting methodologies.
  • Assist in the onboarding and setup of treasury data for Innocap clients.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cash and margin for Innocap DMAs using internal tools.
  • Daily review and analysis of margin requirements and cash balances across DMAs.
  • Monitor and analysis of wallet share across various DMA counterparties.
  • Execution of cash and security transfers.
  • Assist the treasury team with any ad-hoc requests related to supporting the business.
  • Participate with the team to test and troubleshoot system enhancements, providing detailed feedback to improve functionality and user experience

Primary Qualifications & Skills

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Programming or related field.
  • Desired seniority level: minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience with prime brokerage margin and cash financing, bilateral collateral, and stock loans is considered an asset.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, resourceful with ability to manage work in a timely manner.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Team-oriented and results-driven, with a commitment to achieving shared goals.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
