Overview:

Reporting to the Business Development Manager and a strong contributor to the Key Accounts Team. As a Sales professional you will be responsible for supporting the strategy and business development project management for strategic channel customer base. In addition to account management, this position will support our various Sales teams in many aspects of their business processes, including the analysis and interpretation of customer and market data to better understand business/category/brand and competitive performance to identify opportunities and insights that will help drive sales strategy and profitability.


This is a replacement position.


Key Ingredients:

  • Achieve targeted volume and profit goals for the organization through management and development of specific key accounts
  • Develop and execute long and short-term customer, category, and/or regional growth strategies and plans.
  • Provide accurate and timely forecasts for manufacturing and planning purposes
  • Effectively manage trade spend budget
  • Develop account-specific business plans
  • Provide leadership, communication and direction to the Dare Field Sales team
  • Identify opportunities based on interpretation of customer and market data (where applicable) to better understand business/category/brand and competitive performance
  • Provide insights that will help drive sales strategy and profitability
  • Track, communicate, and manage Innovation distribution and performance progress
  • Create reports, selling tools and sell sheets


Recipe for Success:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional organization skills provide you with the ability to multi-task, work independently as well as on high performance teams.
  • Demonstrated high sense of urgency and are results-focused.
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills are considered essential for success in this role.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SAP, and Cognos. Experience with various syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, Retail Link, customer-specific POS) would be considered an asset.
  • You possess a valid driver’s license and be available to travel regionally and/or nationally as required.
