In this exciting role, the Learning & Development Specialist will support the design, development and delivery of global frameworks and programmes, implementing learning interventions across different levels (new hires, individual contributors, managers, leaders etc.).


Working as a member of the Global Learning & Development team you will work as an advocate of Learning and support wider L&D initiatives as well as helping develop and deliver a variety of learning programmes. We are introducing new software and platforms to enable colleagues and clients to engage with learning and this role will play a key part in implementing these, including managing the continuous development of content and reporting.


The Learning and Development Specialist will report into the Head of Learning & Development who is based in London, UK. There may be a requirement for global travel including Europe, Canada and South America.


Responsibilities


  • Consulting and working collaboratively with HR Teams, as well as Senior Leadership Teams (SLTs) to understand business needs that enable you to create and implement L&D roadmaps.
  • Managing global learning projects and initiatives, creating proposals & plans that you see through from beginning to end.
  • Designing, delivering and evaluating training sessions to ensure employees have a great learning experience on our programmes and to demonstrate ROI.
  • Providing recommendations for effective learning and development interventions.
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Consulting with SLTs to diagnose divisional skills gaps and learning needs.
  • Developing & delivering specific training for key audiences including new hires, managers and SLTs.
  • Taking a strategic and proactive approach to learning and development, acting as the expert when engaging with colleagues and clients on all projects/program.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in a similar Learning and Development role for at least 8 years.
  • Great at building relationships with others and able to work with and influence stakeholders and clients at all levels.
  • Proven experience of delivering the full 'training cycle' and utilizing key learning methodologies.
  • Ideally you will have facilitated and managed workshops on leadership & management development.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, consultation and facilitation skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Able to and enjoys working at pace.
  • Adaptability to different environments & able to work with ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems/learning experience platforms (LMS/LXP) - those with experience of using SuccessFactors would be of particular interest.
  • Psychometric accreditations – Insights Discovery is preferable.
