About The Opportunity

As part of the Data Mining Group , the Data Analyst is a multi-disciplined data professional within the Data Mining Group (DMG). The position’s primary objectives include examining, interpreting, and visualizing trends in medical and pharmacy data to generate insights that drive new business processes and refine existing ones. The Data Analyst works with the team to assess and improve mining processes to create investigations with the highest potential for recovery. This role also prepares standard and ad hoc reports to assist senior management with decision making.

Pay range: This is a exempt position. Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee’s geographic location.

What You’ll Do
- Execute, maintain, and monitor SQL queries effectively and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment of business needs and objectives.
- Continuously assess and enhance existing mining and enrichment processes, including creating tools and programs to identify new opportunities.
- Utilize analytics to provide senior management with information for decision-making to improve client health, operational support, and inventory quality.
- Create reports with clear narrative and visual elements to communicate results to a diverse audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Three years of experience extensively utilizing SQL on very large data sets (over 100 million records) required.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel also required.
- Experience utilizing R, Python, or Power BI strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, including confidence to present information to team members.
- Strong analytical abilities with an eagerness to learn about complex business models. Experience on research and reporting projects is preferred.
- Demonstrates a proactive, inquisitive, and creative approach to work, including the development of innovative solutions to complete tasks successfully.
