We are seeking a professional, friendly, and tech-savvy Healthcare Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our members, vendors, and partners. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using RingCentral or similar cloud-based phone systems, a strong background in customer service, and the ability to manage high call volumes efficiently and courteously.

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and tech-savvy Healthcare Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our members, vendors, and partners. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using RingCentral or similar cloud-based phone systems, a strong background in customer service, and the ability to manage high call volumes efficiently and courteously.
Key Responsibilities
Phone & Communication:
- Answer and route a high volume of incoming calls using the RingCentral phone system
- Screen and direct calls appropriately, taking accurate messages when needed
- Monitor voicemails and ensure timely callbacks and follow-ups
- Provide information to callers regarding clinic hours, services, policies, and appointments
- Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Check patients in and out, ensuring all information is accurate and complete
- Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments
- Handle inquiries related to insurance, billing, and basic medical services
- Maintain front desk operations, including faxing, scanning, and filing documents
- Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or other payments
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient records in compliance with HIPAA
- Support clinical and administrative teams as needed with additional tasks
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a receptionist in a healthcare setting
- Proven experience using RingCentral or similar VoIP communication platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology
