We are looking for a proactive and creative Internal Communications Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will craft clear, engaging, and strategic messages that keep employees informed, aligned, and inspired. Youll collaborate with leadership, HR, and department heads to ensure consistent communication across the organization and foster a strong, connected remote culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support company goals and culture
Write and edit content for company announcements, newsletters, intranet updates, and leadership messaging
Partner with departments to share news, initiatives, and policy updates across channels
Manage internal communication platforms (e.g., Slack, email, intranet, video tools)
Measure and report on engagement and effectiveness of communications
Support change management efforts through timely and empathetic communication
Maintain brand voice and tone across all internal materials
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Proficiency with communication tools like Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, or similar
Ability to work independently and build relationships in a fully remote environment
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferred
