ITnova is seeking a

ServiceNow Specialist that is responsible for managing and configuring the ServiceNow platform to meet the organizational needs. This role typically involves developing and implementing workflows, managing system upgrades, and ensuring that the platform aligns with business processes.

Job Type: Full-Time, 90% Remote

Responsibilities

  • Platform ManagementOversee the day-to-day management of the ServiceNow platform, including troubleshooting, updates, and system performance monitoring.
  • Development and ConfigurationDevelop and configure ServiceNow applications and modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, and Service Catalog. Customize workflows to automate and streamline processes.
  • IntegrationIntegrate ServiceNow with other corporate software tools such as HR management systems, ERP systems, and other ITSM tools using API connections.
  • User Support and TrainingProvide support to end-users of the platform, resolving any issues they face in a timely manner. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure users are proficient in using the platform.
  • System UpgradesPlan and execute system upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
  • Reporting and AnalyticsGenerate and analyze reports to track platform performance and identify areas for improvement. Utilize ServiceNow's reporting tools to provide insights into process efficiency.
  • Security and ComplianceEnsure that the ServiceNow deployments comply with internal policies and industry standards. Implement security roles and access controls within the platform.
  • DocumentationMaintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and service records to support compliance and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and their application in ServiceNow.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP Web Services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a remote team environment.
  • Certifications in ServiceNow Administration and/or ServiceNow Application Development are highly desirable.

Work Environment

  • This position is primarily remote, with approximately 10% of work conducted on-site for critical meetings, training, or system implementation phases.
  • Regular virtual meetings with IT team members and other departments to align system functionality with business needs.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate different time zones and work-life balance.

This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, enjoys problem-solving, and is comfortable working in a remote setting while occasionally traveling to the office or other locations as needed.
