The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Marketing Manager to establish and lead HatchMed’s first formal marketing function. In this pivotal role, you’ll develop strategy, manage campaigns, and drive growth by increasing market share and generating high-quality MQLs—ensuring our innovative solutions reach more healthcare providers and patients. You'll have the flexibility to execute key marketing initiatives yourself and collaborate with vendors as needed. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who thrives in both high-level planning and hands-on execution—someone eager to build from the ground up and continuously optimize as we scale.
You’ll report directly to senior leadership and work closely with sales, product, and operations.

- Develop and own HatchMed’s marketing strategy and roadmap
- Execute data-driven marketing strategies by measuring campaign performance, analyzing key metrics, and optimizing spend allocation to drive ROI
- Refine our messaging to clearly communicate what we do and why it matters
- Build a cohesive brand across web, digital, print, and events
- Create and manage campaigns that generate qualified leads—through email, digital, and trade shows
- Use marketing automation tools and CRM systems to track and optimize performance
- Collaborate with sales to align marketing activities with pipeline goals
- Write (or manage writers for) clear, useful content—case studies, blog posts, email copy, product sheets, and more
- Partner with designers or videographers when needed to develop strong visuals and video assets
- Keep all messaging simple, specific, and free of generic healthcare-tech buzzwords
- Stay current on competitor moves, customer needs, and market trends
- Use this information to inform content, positioning, and campaign strategies
- Gather feedback from the sales team and customers to improve what we’re doing
- Ensure all decisions are backed by actionable insights and comprehensive reporting
- Plan and manage trade show presence from start to finish—strategy, logistics, outreach, and post-show follow-up
- Ensure events generate real leads and insights—not just swag
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in MedTech, healthcare, or B2B environments
- Strong writing and content skills—you’re confident creating your own or managing others
- Comfort with marketing automation platforms, CRM tools, and email platforms
- Project management skills to juggle priorities and timelines across internal and external partners
- Strategic thinker with a bias toward execution
- Experience managing vendors when specialized expertise is required
- You’re sharp, practical, and allergic to jargon
- You can work independently and build structure where there is none
- You know when to dive in yourself and when to bring in outside help
- You want your work to be both smart and useful
