Description

Events Project Manager – Veterinary Industry | Innovetive Petcare

Innovetive Petcare is seeking a talented Events Project Manager to join our dynamic team!
If you have a passion for event planning, project management, and supporting professional development in the veterinary industry, we’d love to meet you.

As our Events Project Manager, you will play a vital role in designing and executing impactful internal events — from regional study groups and leadership meetings to continuing education (CE) initiatives — that foster collaboration, growth, and leadership across our veterinary network.

This is a remote position, but the individual must reside in a state where Innovetive Petcare currently has practices: NY, MA, PA, VA, MD, TN, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, LA, AR, TX, and OK.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Event Planning: Organize veterinary-focused events, including internal study group sessions, CE workshops, and annual leadership conferences.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with leadership teams, hospital staff, and internal stakeholders to align events with business goals.
  • Speaker and Content Coordination: Work with Operations, Executive Leadership, and subject matter experts to coordinate speakers and content for CE-accredited events.
  • Venue and Logistics Management: Source venues (virtual or in-person), arrange travel, manage accommodations, catering, and event materials.
  • Budget Management: Create and oversee event budgets to ensure cost-effective planning and execution.
  • Communication and Promotion: Develop internal communications for event announcements, registration management, event reminders, and feedback collection.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Gather feedback, measure event success, and provide actionable insights to continuously enhance future events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in event planning and project management.
  • Strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with clinicians, executives, and support staff across multiple locations.
  • Proficient in event planning and project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Frequent travel is required for this role, including attendance at events, meetings, and onsite coordination throughout the year for up to a week at a time on occasion. Travel will also include weekends and evening hours as needed based on event schedules.
