We are looking for a Node.js Developer with deep experience in Node.js, Java, TypeScript, and Cloud Platforms (preferably AWS). The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist who is passionate about developing and securing scalable REST APIs, designing microservices architectures, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge, business-critical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Build high-quality, secure, and reliable code
Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs
Participate in code and solution design reviews
Follow agile principles and participate in ceremonies to estimate, plan, design, and collaborate with peer engineers to complete stories and meet sprint goals
Work with the team to troubleshoot code-level problems quickly and efficiently
Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software
Support production deployment, operations, and maintenance as part of the end-to-end platform ownership activities.
Minimum qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Extensive experience in delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based distributed systems in a production setting.
Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Extensive experience with the AWS platform and offerings such as ECS, serverless lambdas, SQS, SNS, and Kinesis.
Good at working with databases (MySQL, DynamoDB) and optimizing queries.
Excellent technical problem-solving skills and aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
