Role Description:

The ideal candidate will leverage experience and deep knowledge of Salesforce to design creative solutions, be an analytical thinker and problem solver, have excellent communication skills and technical curiosity, have a strong desire for automation and continuous improvement, and partner with leadership to elevate our systems and processes.

The Business Systems Developer will be responsible for the execution of day-to-day architecture, configuration, support, and maintenance of Salesforce, as well as continuously improving the platform to accelerate market growth. You will work closely with the entire Business Systems team and stakeholders across Sales, Support, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, Legal, and more.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a developer, technical subject matter expert, and solution architect for projects and enhancements supporting Salesforce (700+ users)
  • Recommend changes in architecture, development, maintenance, and systems standards
  • Responsible for the optimal performance of Salesforce and other business systems
  • Brainstorm, design, craft and implement customized functionality based on business needs using native Salesforce functionality whenever possible
  • Manage integrations with Salesforce including Intacct, ADO, Ironclad, and other solutions
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Administer and customize client-facing Community portal
  • Provide support to internal resources to resolve system errors/issues


Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required
  • Proficient with Apex, SOQL, Lightning, Visualforce, Triggers, Flows, Workflow Rules, and Process Builder
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Lightning
  • Manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred:
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
  • Experience using GIT
  • Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other Object-Oriented Language
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, or XML APIs
  • Experience with Azure Function Apps
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Experience managing/building customer Community sites
