Like all roles within our organization, this position is remote, reflecting our US-based yet fully global and home-based structure. Candidates must be available to work across the United States and European time zones.

Job Summary

The Coordinator, People and Culture role provides essential operational support to the People and Culture team, with a primary focus on maintaining and supporting the organization’s Human Resources Management System (HRMS). This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data, running and maintaining HR reports and metrics, identifying opportunities for increased automation in HR processes, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, and providing responsive service to internal team members. The Coordinator is expected to manage routine processes independently, contribute to team-wide initiatives, and support continuous improvement of HR systems and workflows.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRMS (BambooHR) including time off, job changes, and status updates.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of employee records to ensure completeness and accuracy (i.e., job descriptions, I9 forms, emergency contacts).
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and HR metrics (i.e., headcount, turnover, time-to-fill, leave tracking).
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and automation in HR processes; implement creative, systems-based solutions within the HRMS (BambooHR).
  • In partnership with Data and Technology, and Communications Teams, updates the external Career webpage of the organization’s website.
  • Manage onboarding and off-boarding process, including documentation and enrollment of benefits enrollment and exit procedures.
  • Perform routine updates to policies, procedures, process improvement, and document updates.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People and Culture team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Human Resources or on a People and Culture team.
  • Experience in an administrative or systems-focused role.
  • Hands-on experience managing and maintaining an HRMS, HRIS, or HCM, including regular data entry, system audits, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, and data sets.
  • Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Word, and OutlookQuick to learn new digital tools and systems; comfortable navigating new technologies independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment by using strong organizational and planning skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all aspects of the work.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with BambooHR.
  • Experience working within a global, distributed team environment.
  • Experience working remotely.

Employment Package

  • Reports to: Manager, People and Culture
  • Full-Time Position, 40 Hours a Week
  • Location: Virtual/Remote
  • Annual Salary Range: $56,000-$66,000 USD
  • To be filled as soon as possible (start date to be agreed between both parties).
  • Our salary structures are location-agnostic, ensuring equal pay for the same role, irrespective of location. Final employment offers are determined based on the role, candidate experience, education, and other relevant factors, but not on location. Offers will be presented in the local currency of the candidate's permanent residence. Benefits are tailored to the region of the candidate's permanent residence and align with Textile Exchange’s regional employment packages.
