About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team at ServiceUp. The ideal candidate will turn complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role requires a combination of analytical prowess, technical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to various stakeholders across the organization.
A Data Analyst will have the following responsibilities
Analyze datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and KPIs
Create user friendly reports and dashboards to track business metrics and share with stakeholders
Build and maintain SQL data models to support business decision-making processes and operational reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support
Develop and implement data quality processes to ensure accuracy and reliability
Partner with engineering on event data collection procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement
Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
Train teams on report and dashboard usage and best practices
An excellent candidate will exhibit the following
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
2+ years of experience in data analysis or related role
High proficiency with SQL
Strong skills with Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data in an understandable way
Preferred
Experience with BigQuery and Looker
Experience with a programming language such as Python or R for scripting and ad hoc data analysis
Experience in the automotive or service industry
Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
