This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full product design lifecycle—from discovery and ideation to polished, production-ready designs. You'll be a key contributor to elevating the Flickr experience and helping our users find joy, inspiration, and connection through photography.

Awesome is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $130,800. This position is also remote-friendly, and as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Various factors, such as defined competency leveling and geographic location, will determine the final compensation for this role.

Your Opportunity:

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to shape the user experience across web and mobile platforms
  • Craft UI flows, personas, wireframes or prototypes using Figma, Adobe or similar tool to gain feedback from customers and internal partners
  • Support an evidence-based design approach by using research methods like surveys, user interviews, and data insights to guide and validate your design decisions
  • Embrace continuous learning by seeking out opportunities to sharpen your skills, grow as a designer and leader, and share knowledge with the team

What You Bring:

  • Experience designing digital products in startups, agencies, or larger organizations
  • Proficiency with Figma; familiarity with tools like Miro and SurveyMonkey is a plus
  • A strong foundation in interaction, visual, and systems design
  • A user-centered mindset and an ability to simplify complex problems
  • Confidence presenting ideas and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders
  • A collaborative spirit and openness to feedback
  • Passion for storytelling and bringing others along on the design journey
