The Opportunity: We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist to join our growing data team. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in machine learning and statistical analysis to solve challenging problems, derive insights from complex datasets, and contribute to the development of intelligent features for our products. What You'll Do:

  • Develop and implement machine learning models for various applications, including predictive modeling, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform statistical analysis to extract meaningful insights from data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deploy machine learning models to production.
  • Work with large datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
  • Contribute to the development of our data science infrastructure and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence.


What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in data science or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Solid understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience with deep learning and neural networks.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Experience with time series analysis and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant fields.
