The Opportunity
As our Human Resource Business Partner, Retail you will report the HR Manager and support the following client groups: Regional Director, District Managers, Store Leaders, and Store employees. You will be a key strategic partner for leadership and a valuable resource for the team. This is a remote market-based position, candidates must reside in Los Angeles County.

Job Responsibilities
- Supports HR strategies to meet the region and retail stores business goals
- Operates as an advisor, thought partner, and consultant.
- Coach managers and leaders on making great people decisions
- Provides HR expertise in the areas of performance feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, people related strategies, promotions, and compensation
- Knows how to analyze HR Data and market trends to determine ways to improve and influence decisions
- Works collaboratively and effectively with business partners and our Centers of Excellence
- Knows the value of culture and the employee experience
- Lead core HR processes
We would love to hear from you if…
- 3+ years in a multi- unit HR Business Partner role
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience
- Well rounded capability across the HR spectrum (Performance management, compensation and benefits, talent management and succession planning, LOA’s/Accommodations, employee relations, union relations a plus)
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organization; including but not limited to senior leadership.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Experience with Talent Management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite or related software
- 25% to 30% travel within market
