About The Role
We’re looking for a Designer, Paid Social to join the Growth Marketing team in a freelance capacity, with potential to transition into full-time. This role is laser-focused on performance-driven creative for paid social—developing high-performing, scroll-stopping static ads across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic and creative—able to marry visual storytelling with an understanding of what drives clicks, conversions, and thumb-stops. You’ll work closely with our Creative Strategy and Growth teams to bring fresh concepts to life, quickly iterate based on performance data, and help shape the look and feel of Jones Road’s paid social creative.

About The Role
We’re looking for a Designer, Paid Social to join the Growth Marketing team in a freelance capacity, with potential to transition into full-time. You’ll work closely with our Creative Strategy and Growth teams to bring fresh concepts to life, quickly iterate based on performance data, and help shape the look and feel of Jones Road’s paid social creative.
What You’ll Do
- Design high-performing static ads tailored for paid social platforms (Meta, Pinterest, etc.) with an eye toward performance KPIs like CTR and ROAS
- Collaborate with Creative Strategy to translate top-performing concepts, angles, and messaging into compelling visuals
- Use templates and creative testing frameworks to develop quick-turn iterations of winning ads
- Incorporate data-driven feedback to evolve creative in response to performance metrics
- Maintain visual consistency and elevate the Jones Road aesthetic across ads while pushing creative boundaries
- Stay up to date with best-in-class paid social creative and emerging trends in the beauty and DTC space
- 2+ years of experience designing for paid social, ideally in DTC or e-commerce
- A strong portfolio of static ad creative that demonstrates performance focus, visual flair, and platform fluency
- Proficiency in Figma and AI usage.
- Understanding of key paid social metrics and creative variables that impact performance
- Ability to iterate quickly, take feedback with grace, and execute against tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—you know how to work cross-functionally with creative strategists, marketers, and other designers
- Bonus: Experience in beauty, wellness, or fashion brands
