About The Role
CanadaHelps is in the midst of an ambitious capital campaign to support the development of a transformative new software platform. Reporting to the SVP, Community & Strategic Initiatives, the Senior Campaign Manager will work as part of the Office of the CEO team, and directly with the CEO. They are responsible for leading the execution of our fund development strategy, and working collaboratively with other internal stakeholders to support sponsorship and marketing partnership opportunities. This includes developing and stewarding relationships with funders and partners, maintaining and developing the prospect pipeline, accurately capturing donor and sponsorship data; applying an individualized strategy for the organization’s major donor prospects; and driving opportunities through to completion.
The ideal candidate will be well established in the Canadian fundraising landscape, with established relationships in both corporate and foundations, and experience successfully executing established fundraising strategies.
This is a 12-month contract.
The annual salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 depending on experience. This position is remote (GTA) but may require to be in-person at times.

Areas of Responsibilities
- Overall campaign ownership, including management and organization of pipelines, prospect tracking, strategy implementation, task assignment and maintenance of timelines;
- Researching and identifying prospects for funding and/or partnerships;
- Scheduling meetings (in collaboration with the CEO’s Executive Coordinator), preparing talking points, assembling presentations, and meeting prep;
- Leading meetings, or participating in meetings alongside the CEO, with prospective or current funders or partners;
- Overseeing acknowledgement of all campaign gifts and pledges and preparation of pledge payment reminders and pledge agreements;
- Writing all campaign correspondence including solicitation proposals, grant writing, meeting requests, meeting follow up, and funder reports;
- Creating and maintaining a sponsorship plan;
- Maintaining a master campaign calendar to maximize cultivation events and keep the campaign on track.
- Relevant Work Experience: 5-7 years prior experience with donor stewardship and major gifts, prospect research and campaign management.
- Proven track record of leading successful multi-million dollar fundraising campaigns in the Canadian landscape is required. The candidate should have a well-established network with both corporate and foundation contacts.
- The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, investigative, professional and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills are essential.
- Candidates must have a high level of computer literacy, including experience using online databases and other sources to locate financial and philanthropic information, and possess exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, Board members, donors, and prospective donors.
- Candidates must be able to confidently speak about technology and software at the level required to tell the story effectively.
- Fluency in French would be an asset.
