Full Stack Web Developer Intern

Description

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Web Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role is to develop secure, modern web application using Python (alternatively .NET or Java) as the primary programming language. The successful candidate will be adept at working with APIs to facilitate interactive exchanges of information from external sources.

This internship will involve a minimum of 10 hours of work per week, up to 29 hours per week, for 10-12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python as the core language.
• Implement secure coding practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of web applications.
• Develop and integrate APIs to enable seamless interaction with external data sources and services.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs in a timely manner.
• Familiarity with deploying applications within an cloud environment (AWS, Azure)
  
  

Requirements

• Experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role in web development.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of database systems.
• Awareness of security best practices in web development.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
