Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a creative professional who can drive our email marketing initiatives to new heights by using their knowledge and experience from working with organizations committed to bringing about meaningful change in the world. The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing, sales, creative and editorial teams to craft compelling email strategies that align with our business goals and enhance customer and client relationships.

Job Summary:

The Email Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing, sales, creative and editorial teams to craft compelling email strategies that align with our business goals and enhance customer and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive email marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, increase customer engagement and revenue, and drive website traffic.
- Plan, create, and execute email campaigns, including promotional, lifecycle, transactional, and automated nurture programs.
- Manage email marketing calendar, scheduling and sends through marketing automation and project management tools.
- Work with the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations to leverage audience segmentation and data-driven insights to deliver personalized and targeted messaging.
- Monitor and analyze email performance metrics, providing actionable insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as an Email Marketing Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the media or nonprofit sector. B2C, B2B and DTC preferred.
- Experience with ESPs (Email Service Providers) and Marketing Automation tools. At least three years of HubSpot experience is required.
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email templates a plus.
- Experience in data and analytics platforms including Google Analytics 4. Knowledge of UTM codes is preferred.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with experience in project management tools such as Wrike and Asana.
