In this role, you will play a vital role in our finance team, managing key accounting functions, ensuring financial accuracy, and delivering top-notch customer service. This position requires expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and client communication to support the financial health of our organization. Successful candidates in this role must enjoy wearing multiple hats, have strong verbal and written communication skills, management skills, and a high attention to detail.

Requirements

• Manage all aspects of our Accounting Operations
• Prepare and issue customer statements, invoices, and bills while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile expenses to the general ledger and post receipts to appropriate accounts.
• Process and verify financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, clarifying discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare and review monthly receivable statements and financial reports.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and ensure all journal entries are up to date.
• Monitor and maintain ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records.
• Assist with tax filings, payroll processing, and benefits review and reconciliation.
• Address inquiries and provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support month-end close procedures and assist in audit preparations.
• Review employee expense reports for compliance and accuracy.
  
  

Experience And Attributes

• A detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Intacct, Zoho Books or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliation.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and best practices.
• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience working with a SaaS or related subscription-based business model
• CPA or CPA Candidate
• 1-2+ years of accounting operations and GL experience with increasing responsibility, preferably at a rapidly growing tech company
