About The Role

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills to collect, analyze, and interpret data, driving informed decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure accurate reporting and provide actionable insights. By delivering precise and meaningful data analysis, you will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data from various databases.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform complex data analysis using Power Query, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and pivot tables.
  • Develop compelling data visualizations using tools like Power BI and Visual Studio to present findings effectively.
  • Automate reporting processes using Power Automate, including creating and monitoring SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduling reports with SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Interpret data to extract actionable insights, providing recommendations for process improvements and strategic initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues or discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail to ensure data integrity is upheld.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Manage multiple reporting requests and meet tight deadlines across various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and compliance departments, to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Skills, Knowledge, And Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Moderate experience with SQL and data analysis techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in advanced functions and data manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Visual Studio.
  • Basic knowledge of automation tools including Power Automate and SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication abilities, specifically the capacity to present complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams to achieve common goals.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards (preferred).
  • Experience in the automation of reporting processes (preferred).
  • Knowledge of additional reporting tools and analytics platforms (preferred).

Location

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere that suits you best! While you’ll primarily work from home, you are always welcome to visit our office in Irving, TX, whenever you choose. We encourage our remote team members to stay connected through regular virtual meetings and team events. All team members must reside in one of our approved locations by their start date, ensuring you remain part of our collaborative community.

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $80,00 to $100,000 depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
