Position type: Salaried, Part-time fixed one-year contract (20 hours / week at $23/hr) 


Executive Summary

The Administrative Coordinator for the National Prayer Igniter (NPI) plays a key role in fostering a culture of God-dependent prayer within Power to Change (P2C) and beyond. This individual must be passionate about prayer, a proactive leader, and a fast learner who thrives on new challenges.

Position Overview

Serving as part of the P2C Prayer Leadership Team, the Administrative Coordinator provides high-level administrative and strategic support to the National Prayer Igniter (NPI), who also serves as the Regional Prayer Representative for North America and Oceania (NAO). 

This position requires initiative, problem-solving, and project leadership—the successful candidate will not only support prayer initiatives but will also proactively plan, execute, and improve them. The role offers flexibility in work hours and location while requiring consistent engagement in key responsibilities.


Role Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key areas:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Independently lead and coordinate prayer-focused events, ensuring smooth execution and strategic alignment, including but not limited to:
  • World Wide Day of Prayer Planning Team (WWDP) (twice a year)
  • Intercessor gathering before the National Prayer Breakfast
  • Prayer initiatives with other ministries
  • Prayer portion of the P2C Staff Conference
  • Monthly Chapel (prayer-focused staff gathering)
  • Develop and manage timelines, logistics, and communication for each initiative.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

Administrative & Strategic Support

  • Provide confidential and high-level administrative support to the National Prayer Igniter.
  • Manage the NPI’s calendar, email and travel arrangements with efficiency and foresight.
  • Handle general admin support for the P2C Prayer Leadership Team.
  • Oversee communication with ministry partners and intercessors, cultivating strong relationships.
  • Content collection and execution of monthly prayer updates
  • Develop an annual plan for updates to NPI’s supporters, ensuring consistent engagement and follow-ups.
  • Process and review expense reimbursements for prayer-related activities.


Initiative & Problem-Solving

  • Act as a solution-oriented problem solver, bringing fresh ideas and initiative to prayer initiatives.
  • Investigate new tools, approaches, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of prayer initiatives.

  • Passion for prayer and a commitment to cultivating a culture of intercession.
  • Strong leadership & initiative—proactive, resourceful, and able to take ownership of projects.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills—capable of juggling multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—emotionally mature, intuitive, and a strong communicator.
  • Strong problem-solving ability—intellectually curious, willing to ask questions, and eager to implement solutions.
  • Tech-savvy—comfortable with Google Workspace (or equivalent) and other organizational tools.
  • Self-motivated and independent—capable of working without constant oversight while being a team builder.
  • Flexibility & adaptability—comfortable with new challenges and rapid learning.
  • Available to travel (within Canada) if needed, likely no more than 1-2 times per year.


Assets (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Bilingual
  • Worship Leader
  • Experience serving cross-culturally.
  • Living in British Columbia (or Mountain Time Zone).
  • Knowledge of and experience with spiritual warfare.


Education & Experience

  • Associate degree plus 2+ years of office experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project management experience or a strong ability to execute and lead projects independently is an asset.
