Security Architect

About the Role:

As a Security Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing the company's security architecture, ensuring the protection of systems, data, and assets from threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the security architecture for all systems
• Develop security standards, patterns, and best practices
• Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling
• Define security requirements for new systems and features
• Review code and architecture for security vulnerabilities
• Implement security controls and mitigations
• Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies
• Collaborate with development teams to implement secure designs

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in IT security
• 3 years in security architecture or similar role
• Strong knowledge of application security, network security, and cloud security
• Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards
• Understanding of cryptography, authentication, and authorization
• Experience with secure development practices
• Security certifications CISSP, CSSLP, etc.) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Required Skills:

• Experience designing security architecture for cloud-based systems
• Knowledge of financial services security requirements
• Experience with at least one major security framework NIST, ISO, etc.)
