As our Talent Team grows we are looking for creative, high-performing talent partners who are eager to take on a new challenge as we build the TA function. In this role, you will master a new domain of sourcing across all areas of the business, help build amazing candidate experience, and influence the scaling of a high-growth AI start up with some of the greatest minds in the industry.

Please Note: We have offices in Toronto, San Francisco, New York and London. We embrace a remote-friendly environment, and as part of this approach, we strategically distribute teams based on interests, expertise, and time zones to promote collaboration and flexibility.

As a member of our Talent Sourcer & Coordinator team, you will:

  • Build, own, and nurture a strong pipeline of world-class talent by utilizing a range of sourcing techniques and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Support hiring across all levels and functions (tech and non-tech) in the business from early talent & intern hiring through to leadership hiring.
  • Manage the candidate experience and develop strong relationships with candidates. Shepherd candidates through the interview process with seamless communication from start to finish.
  • Partner with hiring managers, talent partners and interview teams, developing effective sourcing strategies to achieve hiring goals.
  • Keep up-to-date with the talent market and industry insights in an effort to foster informed decision making.
  • Optimize and improve the interview process as it scales and ensure it promotes a positive candidate experience.
  • Build relationships with diverse technical and talent communities.
  • Initiate and take ownership of exciting talent projects.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sourcing or full-cycle recruiting role, preferably within a fast growing tech startup.
  • Strong experience initiating and managing creative talent sourcing strategies.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Courage, resilience and an ability to work effectively in a dynamic change oriented environment.
  • A track record of taking ownership; directly sourcing top of funnel candidates across multiple business areas both tech and non-tech.
  • A passion for establishing equitable recruiting processes and a history of going the extra mile to recruit non-traditional candidates.
  • A natural curiosity for the AI industry, specifically around cutting edge research within the NLP space.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ashby is a major bonus!
