Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and review meetings.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure clear communication of requirements and provide guidance throughout the development cycle.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery within scope.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project deliverables.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
  • Act as a key point of contact between technical team and stakeholders to align priorities.
  • Define the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure project goals are met.
  • Manage project scope, changes, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.


What We’re Looking For


Experience:

  • 3-5 years as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
  • 2+ years of Project Management experience (Scrum Master experience is a plus).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments within a software development firm.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Monday.com, or similar).
  • Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and QA.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
  • PMI-PMP
