About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to join our Analytics team, which focuses on delivering actionable insights to empower teams and leaders across the organization. This role is critical to driving meaningful change through data analysis and insight generation.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience querying and analyzing complex data, particularly in the retail industry, and will demonstrate a passion for interpreting consumer behavior. They should excel in synthesizing data into actionable insights and possess exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts with clarity and precision.
Workplace Arrangements
This role will follow a fully remote schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work from home 5 days a week.

- Participate in the development and implementation of self-service analytics tools, with an emphasis on actionability
- Produce insights from quantitative and qualitative data for presentation to senior management, recommending appropriate courses of action
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external research vendor to identify opportunities to deliver Giant Tiger's strategies
- Know our data and our KPIs; proactively investigating observed trends in the context of the current retail landscape
- Contribute to, and benefit from, the growth and development of the Reporting & Analytics team and its members
- 3-5 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analytics within the Retail industry
- Experience with BI tools, such as MicroStrategy.
- Experience using SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver insights and appropriate recommendations to stakeholders.
