Panoramic Health's Legal Team is Hiring! This role can work remotely full time, and we are willing to consider candidates based on location.
The Paralegal I role is a newly created position to support all administrative and legal matters in the Legal team, support senior paralegals, legal managers, and attorneys.
This position is part of the Legal Team, reporting to a Legal Manager, Senior Paralegal, or Attorney. This position will have a wide range of administrative and legal duties including legal issue intake, contract intake, contract/document tracking and organization, legal team work assignment and tracking, legal project tracking, documentation repository organization and maintenance, legal filings, legal and regulatory research, documentation preparation, and any other legal and regulatory support functions as needed. While not required, prior experience in healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for all legal and contract intake documentation, routing, and closure.
- Manage documents and project management for legal support of the legal and regulatory teams.
- Manage legal projects under the direction or legal management and/or attorneys.
- Support legal and regulatory projects.
- Act as a liaison between in-house counsel and outside counsel on assigned legal projects.
- Keeping accurate documentation and accounting of legal documents and repository.
- Legal research and correspondence, as directed by legal management and/or attorneys
- Assist in Legal Department management and billing.
- Project manage legal projects or legal work to support business teams.
- Management of provider and practice agreements at the direction of Chief Clinical Operations Officer.
- Support coding and billing legal and regulatory work in conjunction with Compliance team.
- Other legal support duties, as required.
- Support other legal functions, as needed.
- Support special projects of business teams
- Bachelor’s degree in law, healthcare, project management, business administration, or related area of study is required.
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Paralegal I – 3-5 years experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar.
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Self driven and ability to make independent decisions.
- Exception customer service.
- Ability to clearly communicate through written and verbal means.
- Analytically minded professional with strong critical thinking skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Work experience directly for a healthcare government agency a plus.
- Experience in kidney care not required but preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including SharePoint.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
