About The Role:


Little Spoon is seeking an experienced Talent & People Operations Manager to join as the second hire on our People Team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving our talent acquisition efforts while supporting the Director of People, ensuring our commitment to a best-in-class brand and employee experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable and eager to make a lasting impact on our team and culture. This role will be based in our New York City headquarters (hybrid) or remotely from anywhere in the United States.


What You’ll Do:


Full-Cycle Recruitment (85%)


  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, coordinating hiring team feedback, and extending offers for a wide range of roles across departments.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, define role requirements, and identify top candidates.
  • Ensure a consistent, exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from first contact to application, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Select and implement an applicant tracking system to improve our recruitment processes and efficiency.
  • Leverage multiple channels to build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality candidates who align with our values.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to optimize talent acquisition efforts.
  • Refine and showcase our employer brand through job postings, social media, and candidate communications.
  • Develop and implement resources such as hiring guides, interview guides, and candidate rubrics to consistently evaluate and select top talent.


General HR Support (15%)


  • Optimize onboarding and offboarding workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Assist the Director of People with general HR projects, as needed, including but not limited to performance management, employee engagement surveys, learning and development initiatives, and culture-building events and activities.


What You’ll Need:


  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a demonstrated track record of full-cycle recruitment success, ideally with a CPG brand.
  • Solid understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A results-oriented mindset, using analytics and data to drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail; effective prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest and willingness to support HR projects beyond talent acquisition, with a “no task is too small” attitude.
