EMKAL is hiring! We have an exceptional team of technical experts, and we’re looking to add a Sales Specialist in a full-time permanent role to develop our pipeline and help grow the business. Starting salary is $55,000/year plus results-based commission. There is no application deadline; candidates will be contacted as applications are reviewed until the position is filled.


Key responsibilities include:


Finding and Approaching New Potential Clients

  • Establish first contact with potential leads through various channels (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google search, networking events, local business groups, referrals, etc.)
  • Develop and continuously maintain a list of new potential clients for managed IT services with all relevant details 
  • Consult with the Operations Manager and General Manager about what EMKAL can/cannot offer as part of an IT support contract
  • Remain transparent with the Operations Manager and General Manager regarding emails to/from potential clients
  • Respond to client communications within one business day
  • Arrange meetings, either virtually (MS Teams) or face-to-face, with decision-makers at potential clients
  • Maintain a schedule of your planned meetings in your Outlook Calendar


Meeting New Potential Clients

  • Attend meetings with potential clients punctually and in accordance with our dress code 
  • Support the Operations Manager and General Manager in responding to client questions
  • Take meeting notes, including potential clients’ IT and business current situation, needs, and limitations
  • Upload meeting notes either same-day or next business day


Following Up with New Potential Clients

  • Handle objections from decision-makers
  • When necessary, negotiate contract terms with decision-makers, in conjunction with the Operations Manager and General Manager

The successful applicant must be based in the West GTA. While this is mainly a remote position, the expectation is that the successful applicant will join in-person team days/social events twice per month, and will have access to a vehicle for potential client site visits in our service area.
