About The Role

Reporting to the President and co-founder, the VP of Finance will be a strategic and dynamic addition to our team, leading our international financial operations and driving the company’s financial strategy across Australia, Canada, and the United States. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in global financial management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. This role requires a visionary leader who not only collaborates with senior leadership to enhance financial performance and optimize resource allocation but is also willing to roll up their sleeves and engage in the day-to-day operations. We need someone who can balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on involvement, supporting business growth in diverse markets while ensuring operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies that align with global goals.
  • Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on an international scale.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations in multiple countries.
  • Analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and making strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Managing relationships with investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
  • Monitoring key financial metrics and preparing reports for senior leadership.
  • Driving initiatives for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

What You Have

  • Skills in financial planning, analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and communication.
  • Experience in risk management and technology proficiency.
  • Understanding of operational efficiency and financial modeling.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • CPA or CFA certification preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management.
  • Experience in a multi-country financial role.
  • Proficiency in financial software and other tools such as Xero, Magento and Salesforce.
