Who we're looking for

We're seeking a Content Marketing Lead who will be responsible for leading a small team and developing and executing a content strategy that aligns with our business and marketing goals. You will plan, create and manage high-quality, engaging B2B content across various channels to attract, educate, and convert our target audience. Your content will fuel our marketing campaigns, support demand generation, bring awareness to product feature releases, and help establish Katana as a thought leader in the industry.


Your typical week would include


Content Strategy

Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and the product roadmap. Collaborate across teams to create strategies that drive demand, nurture leads, and acquire customers. Understand audience needs and market trends to deliver creative content ideas.

Content Creation

Produce high-quality content across formats (e.g., blogs, whitepapers, videos, social media) and balance in-house resources with agencies/freelancers. Ensure content is on-brand, SEO-optimized, and supports lead generation initiatives.

Performance Tracking

Set and track goals aligned with company OKRs. Monitor metrics like traffic, engagement, and conversion rates, providing regular reports and insights for optimization.

SEO Management

Align content with SEO best practices, perform keyword research, and collaborate with the website manager to improve content performance.

Team Management

Lead and mentor the content team, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Manage workloads, set objectives, and ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.


You're the perfect fit if you

  • Creative thinker and leading teams with 5+ years in a SaaS organisation.
  • Proven experience in content marketing, particularly in innovative SaaS environments.
  • Confident project management skills with an ability to keep momentum on large scale, extended projects, ensuring content delivery meets campaign activation deadlines.
  • Experience developing clear and consistent messaging frameworks that are maintained and well used.
  • Strong sense of prioritisation, confidently managing your teams’ workload through impact/effort assessment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a natural ability to excite and inform key stakeholders across other areas of the organisation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Salary range: $115k CAD - $135k CAD annually
