Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Account Operations will support the continuation of strong relationships with our key retail partners, including Sephora and ULTA, among others. Other responsibilities will include managing the new product launch process, sampling strategy development and execution, visual merchandising logistics, Market season logistics and more. The Assistant Manager, Account Operations will report to the Sr. Director, Accounts.

This role is remote and is open to candidates based in the United States. However, this role will be required to work in PST hours so West coast candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Directors on development and execution of strategies across key retail accounts
  • Support day-to-day operations for assigned accounts in partnership with Account Directors
  • Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional partners to spearhead and execute new product launch process on and before retailer deadlines
  • Participate in strategy development and own execution of sampling process for key accounts, including submission of SKU setup, comp deliver, PO tracking and more
  • Own and update company Master SKU File on monthly basis to ensure internal stakeholders are kept abreast of any shifts in distribution strategy
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising team on ensuring flawless merchandising execution and share outs to key accounts
  • Create sales reports and analyses as needed, in partnership with Account Directors
  • Support Account Directors throughout Market season, including logistics, gratis, deck creation, and more
  • Lead ongoing competitive analysis, including tracking competitive launches, retailer exposure, etc.
  • Lead ongoing audits of key account’s dotcoms to ensure products are accurately represented in pricing, images, copy, etc.
  • Miscellaneous projects, including cross-functional needs, as needed

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of beauty sales experience; strong preference for previous experience with Sephora or ULTA
  • Demonstrated success of building winning partnerships with Sales leadership and retailers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with diverse teams
  • Intermediate to advance data manipulation & visualization experience in Excel or a similar BI platform

  • This is the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a few factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
