Overview

Access Limited is a leading provider of rockfall mitigation and steep slope services that manages GSI's slope stabilization projects across North America. With more than 100 years of experience, the company specializes in complex projects that demand expertise, innovation and opportunities to test our limits.

Qualified candidates must be able to maintain high levels of customer service while meeting deadlines and working in a flexible environment critical to an emergency contractor. Duties include all aspects of project creation and management including site visits, estimating, engineering, project submittals, fostering new and ongoing relationships with clients, in-house crews and engineers. All work would be conducted from the road or from candidate’s home office.

Job Summary

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of assigned projects. This role involves coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring project objectives are met within established timelines.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project status and address concerns.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, agreements, and reports.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.

Other Duties

  • Facilitate project meetings and workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members on project management best practices.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management, ideal would be 4 years.

Physical And Environmental Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate computers, telephones and keyboards.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds occasionally.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually light, reflective of a typical office environment. The noise level on job sites, when traveling, is moderate and hearing protection is often required.
  • Work environment occasionally includes exposure to characteristic construction site dangers and exposure to working in outside elements in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
  • Occasionally required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of work time.
