Job Description

Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager

Location: Remote Position

Summary: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the recruitment process within the SWH. The TAS works closely with the HR and Training & Development teams to integrate the organizational design necessary to acquire, attract, assess, select, and develop internal and external talent to support the business needs. The TAS provides consulting and support to key business leaders and stakeholders across disciplines to enable talent acquisition capabilities, embedding behavioral based interview and other activities to support the business leaders in cultivating existing talent.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement recruiting and selection strategies to promote and foster inclusion/diversity, anticipate changes in the business and market trends.
  • Manage the recruitment of key talent to include promotion from within and external applicants.
  • Manage college recruitment programs.
  • Manage and administer the Applicant Tracking System and other recruiting functions.
  • Align with business partners and executive stakeholders as a mentor and champion for talent acquisition to cultivate people capability.
  • Contribute to and represent the organization's emerging brand image as an employer of choice and support implementation of equivalent branding strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead and champion recruitment and selection, as well as innovations in this area to support business needs Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other key systems that contributes to effective acquisition of talent.
  • Ensure policies, practices, and processes are in full compliance with local state, federal, and company regulatory standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date recruiting reports, candidate database and all other record keeping required to comply with and talent management best practices.
  • Develop and monitor talent related metrics.
  • Communicate regularly with hiring managers on progress of candidate selection and search process.
  • Coach and train managers to take ownership for recruiting best practices to include candidate assessment and development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Three years of recruiting experience and college outreach.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Values integrity and behaves in a professional manner that reflects honesty and candor.
  • Attend job-related seminars and conferences.
  • Travel: 20% to 25%.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus!
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel and Power Point
  • Proficiency in Application Tracking Systems & HRIS
