We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and handling basic accounting tasks.
Duties
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with payroll management tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry and filing
- Utilize accounting software such as UltiPro, Workday, Xero, Ceridian, and ADP
- Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Knowledge of governmental accounting procedures is advantageous
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
