The Channel Sales Director in Canada is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to generate revenue through a network of channel partners as well as actively assisting sales in large, strategic opportunities and attending key sales and marketing events throughout the country. This includes identifying and recruiting new partners, managing existing partnerships, and providing support and training to partners. The channel sales manager also works closely with the company's internal sales team to ensure that partners are aligned with the company's overall sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a channel sales strategy for the Canadian market
  • Identify and recruit new channel partners, if needed
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing end-users, resellers, and channel partners
  • Develop relationships with key customers across the country, through both virtual and in-person meetings
  • Provide support and training to partners
  • Work closely with the company's internal sales team to ensure that partners are aligned with the company's overall sales goals
  • Set and achieve sales goals for channel partners
  • Sell directly to key accounts, if needed
  • Track and analyze channel sales performance
  • Develop and implement sales programs and initiatives for channel partners
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
  • Conduct Forecast and pipeline review meetings with account managers. SalesForce experience an asset.
  • Esure lead generation and pipeline growth will sustain revenue targets.
  • Provides feedback to marketing, program management, and other supporting departments regarding market trends, competition and changes in teacher licensure/recertification, and other factors impacting sales.
  • Assist with the development of new sales materials.
  • Travel requirement: 25-50%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the Canadian educational market
  • 3+ years of experience in channel sales management and/or direct sales management
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Experience with sales forecasting and analysis
