Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Management: Oversee daily office functions, maintain QuickBooks entries, coordinate equipment acquisitions, and ensure that all policies and the employee handbook are current.
- Human Resources Oversight: Manage HR-related tasks, including recruitment, terminations, disciplinary measures, benefits administration, leave management, and orientation for new hires.
- Policy Formulation: Collaborate with leadership to craft policies that align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards.
- Remote Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration among our fully remote team by managing virtual meetings and ensuring access to essential technology and resources.
- Operational Streamlining: Identify and address process inefficiencies to enhance productivity and ensure seamless onboarding, training, and offboarding procedures.
- Community Building: Cultivate a strong sense of community by organizing virtual team-building events and social activities.
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to legal standards for remote operations and safeguard data security.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative or office management capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate relationships across teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and technologically adept, with proficiency in QuickBooks, Rippling, Zoho, Google Suite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Office Management certification (e.g., Administrative Office Management Certificate, Certified Office Manager) is a plus.
